CARMEL SEVA TRUST is a voluntary charitable organization that provides service to the needy, irrespective of caste or creed. It draws its inspiration form Mother Veronica, the founder of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation and is registered under Indian Trust act 1882 of the Indian Registration Act. It was established in the year 2013, by the then Provincial Superior Sr. M. Linette A.C. as President and her team as the Trustees.

President’s Message
Carmel Seva Trust, an NGO of the Apostolic Carmel, Karnataka Province, was registered in the year 2013, to bring good news to the poor in society, where millions lack the necessities of life, socially, spiritually, mentally and physically.

In the year 2013, Carmel Seva Trust was started in Mangalore with legal procedures, with vision, mission, values, goals and objectives along with areas of social developmental activities. At this juncture, I happened to be the Principal of Carmel Vocational Training Institute.
Our Programs
Empowerment of Women
The future of the women is the main concern of the Trust. Women empowerment and economic progress can never be achieved with a shortsighted view of isolating women or denying their rights and opportunities.
Integrated development of Children
The integral development of children and universalization of primary education focuses on the mental, physical and social development of children from villages. Most of the children are educated through sponsorship programme.
Community Health Care
Community mobilization to strengthen their effort in ensuring adequate and nutritious food and focuses on the health needs of the rural poor especially of women and children.
Environment Protection
The natural environment encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally. The term Environment often applied to Earth or some parts of the Earth.
Rehabilitation of Differently Abled
Differently-abled people have been and are still subject to inequality. CST creates opportunities to get proper education and improve their living conditions by providing them training in life skill to earn their livelihood.
Skill Development
CST aims at training prison inmates in skill development so that once they come out of prison they have relevant skills to find apt jobs.
