Empowerment of Women

The future of the women is the main concern of the Trust. Women empowerment and economic progress can never be achieved with a shortsighted view of isolating women or denying their rights and opportunities. Carmel Seva Trust has formed 43 Self Help Groups for women in 9 adopted villages. They lacked the knowledge of finance and opportunities to grow. Slowly they are made aware of these aspects so that they learn their rights and responsibilities in society.
