President’s Message

Carmel Seva Trust, an NGO of the Apostolic Carmel, Karnataka Province, was registered in the year 2013, to bring good news to the poor in society, where millions lack the necessities of life, socially, spiritually, mentally and physically.

We reach out to them through our Spiritual Ministry, Social Ministry and Health Ministry to bring liberty to captives, where so many are enslaved in poverty, addiction, ignorance, discrimination and violence. We empower them through our educational and youth programmes, empower the women through different programmes and care for the differently abled adults. We try to bring new sight to the blind in a culture where fun and pleasure can spiritually blind us, uphold the dignity and rights of human beings, especially of the weaker sections of society. We have our women empowerment programme to set the downtrodden free in communities where discrimination, crime, racism, family disintegration and other forces leave people without hope. We become a ray of hope especially for those who are behind bars through our Prison Ministry. We thank God for Carmel Seva Trust for all the activities undertaken for the past 10 years. My warmest thanks and gratitude to all our Sisters and others involved in the activities of Carmel Seva Trust.

May God Almighty bring down, His richest blessings on all of them. I express my deepest gratitude to all the Sisters of our Province, well-wishers and benefactors. May the Lord lead us forward to be the Good Samaritans and neighbours to yet many more.
