On September 6, 2024, the Carmel Service Trust organized a distribution event in Bidar where free aids were given to individuals with disabilities. During this event, wheelchairs, crutches, and walking sticks were distributed to the disabled. The Carmel Service Trust has already made progressive strides in social service, and this program is bringing new hope to the lives of the disabled. Sister Maria Reetha, the unit director, expressed that the disabled individuals have faith that these aids will bring improvements in their lives and also acknowledged the generosity of the donors.
The disabled individuals and their families expressed their gratitude to the Carmel Seva Trust for this initiative. They voiced their belief that these aids will facilitate their daily activities and enhance their self-respect in life.
