Medical Camps:
In June 8th, 15th, 22nd and 28th 2024, the Carmel Seva Trust (CST) effectively conducted four medical camps in Malegoan-107, Benakanalli-115, Amlapura-112 and Tadpalli-131 patients villages. We deeply appreciate the generous financial backing from CHAI. The Unit Director of CST and volunteers significantly benefited the villagers, particularly senior citizens who face challenges due to aging, lack of transport to hospitals, and financial constraints in accessing proper medical care.
Medical camps:
In July 2024, the Carmel Seva Trust (CST), supported by the Catholic Association of India (CHAI), hosted medical camps in Bidar Taluka for underserved communities. The first camp on July 6th at Bagdal Thanda saw high turnout despite the village's 2,700 residents. Subsequent camps in Shekapur (113 patients), Kaplapur (103 patients), and Nandagaun (106 patients) were successful, with enthusiastic participation and effective volunteer support. Each camp provided essential services and refreshments, earning gratitude from attendees. CST thanks CHAI for their vital support in these healthcare initiatives.
Medical camp:
In August 2024, the Carmel Seva Trust (CST) held four medical camps in Astoor 3rd, Chittawadi 10th, Shahpur 17th, and Jamgi Mailoor 24th, with generous support from CHAI. Top doctors, inspired by CHAI's mission, volunteered their time despite the rainy weather, and door-to-door outreach helped many patients. Volunteers conducted surveys, gathered data, and worked with local Ashaworkers, Anganwadi teachers, and leaders, who were highly cooperative.
